“I was so worried taking in my 8 months old baby post covid. 2 months in, I’m not even sure what I was worried about! Everything is great! I have peace leaving my baby full days. She sleeps, she’s well fed, she plays, she is just so happy! She settled in much quicker than I expected, within a week!! She was all settled! From the owners to the manager, the key workers too? “Finding a nursery post lockdown was very difficult. I needed a place where our son would be able to enjoy and feel comfortable as he had been isolating and used to being home since he was born. Almond Bud Day Nursery was the third nursery I viewed and I instantly loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff. When you’re bringing a 13 month old baby to a nursery you always have a ton of questions and all those were answered to my satisfaction. I can tell my baby loves it from his attitude when I fetch him after a long day at nursery. I work full time and he’s there 5 days a week and I’m at ease that he’s in a safe environment with people that a patient with him. Good foundation for children.”

“My son started going to this nursery at a very uncertain time during Covid. We decided to pull him from his previous nursery because of a lack of proper procedure, process, and open communication with the parents. Almond Bud was one nursery that immediately explained the process to us, ensured they communicated these to me very clearly and as many times as I wanted. My son settled down here way quicker than we expected. From the first day, he literally walked in without looking back and was so happy to be in nursery. He loves it so much and actually cries sometimes when it’s time to pick him up. He is also a very picky eater and this is one that they worked collaboratively with me on. To ensure we were both doing the same thing at home and nursery. They went as far as buying certain things we used for him at home even though it wasn’t something they necessarily used for other kids. I would highly recommend. They do this out of deep love and care.”

Due to covid-19, it has been different but in his first few days I was able to see him settle in class and I was well informed on the things he would be doing in class. “Both my little ones have been to Almond Bud Nursery. They always have been very happy to attend. The place is safe, clean, children do lots of sensory activities and the garden is amazing, big, with lots of options to develop their skills and spend their energy. Also there is always someone available for their emotional needs.The staff is friendly, experienced, trained and always smiling. My kids had fun and made very good friends. “My Son enjoyed every moment he spent at the Nursery… Moments with the teachers, friends, the classroom,the toys and food! I am grateful to the staff for the constant help they provide for the children. Everything my Son needed to start off big school was instilled in him at Almond Bud. We felt at home, and I was always at rest whenever my Son was at the Nursery. I had no reason to panic because his safety was always guaranteed! “Everyone at almond bud is very kind, caring and approachable . Always smiling and willing to help. My child is quite fond of C and F, they both have a lovely relationship with her . From what I’ve seen, They don’t just focus on one child they focus on everyone and provide person centred care and accommodate each child’s needs. J is also very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to be of support. R is lovely too, nothing is ever a problem or too much to ask. C is great too, N doesn’t see her as much now but she loves a story and cuddles with C. lovely team, keep up the good work.”
